Terms of Service

Summary version for the pilot phase.

1. What the service does

Who Played fingerprints your unreleased tracks, keeps a log of who you sent them to, and reports detections of those tracks in online videos so you can confirm plays.

2. Your content stays yours

Uploading a track transfers no ownership, release, publishing, or revenue rights to the platform. Content detection with Meta's systems is only ever activated per track, with your explicit signature on a separate, revocable agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

You confirm that tracks you upload are yours to protect, and that information you log (contacts, sends) is accurate. Detection results are evidence to support your decisions — payments and deals you make based on them remain your responsibility.

4. Ending things

You can revoke any track's protection at any time, and delete your account by contacting us. Registrations are removed promptly when protection ends.
