1. What the service does
Who Played fingerprints your unreleased tracks, keeps a log of who you sent them to, and reports detections of those tracks in online videos so you can confirm plays.
2. Your content stays yours
Uploading a track transfers no ownership, release, publishing, or revenue rights to the platform. Content detection with Meta's systems is only ever activated per track, with your explicit signature on a separate, revocable agreement.
3. Your responsibilities & warranty
You warrant that every track you upload is yours to protect (for a remix, that you created the recording and understand the underlying work belongs to its rights holders), and that information you log is accurate. We rely on those confirmations and do not independently verify rights. You are responsible for obtaining any permission the original rights holders may require.
4. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold Who Played harmless against any third-party claim, loss, or cost arising from content you upload or register, or from any confirmation you make being inaccurate. If a rights conflict arises, we may decline or remove a registration without notice.
5. No guarantee & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that every play will be detected, that detections are complete or error- free, or that any particular platform surface is covered. Detection results are evidence to support your own decisions; payments, deals, and actions you take based on them are your responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Who Played is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
6. Ending things
You can revoke any track's protection at any time, and delete your account by contacting us. Registrations are removed promptly when protection ends.
